Trauma Informed Yin 

Space to Slow Down, Release & Reconnect.

Yin Yoga works deeply into the connective tissues and nervous system, helping to release physical tension while also supporting emotional regulation and inner calm. Using trauma-informed principles, these sessions are designed to help you feel safe, and in control of your own experience. There is no pressure to perform or 'get it right'. No yoga exerience or flexibility required.

Yin Yoga can support:

Trauma-informed Yin Yoga offers a safe, gentle approach to healing by combining long-held poses with a focus on safety, choice, and body awareness. By holding gentle poses, the practice helps move the body out of "fight or flight" (sympathetic) mode into a "rest and digest" (parasympathetic) state. It reduces PTSD symptoms, anxiety, and stress while fostering emotional release, self-compassion, and nervous system regulation. This practice helps to reconnect with your bodies in a controlled, empowered way.  Yin Yoga targets deep connective tissues where emotional energy can become stored, allowing for safe processing and release of repressed emotions or trauma.
